Modern Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV) have very low acoustical and magnetic signatures, they can be released and recovered from different platforms and operate in any sea state so they can be used for different type of missions provided that special sensors are fitted on board.
Acoustical, RF, IR sensors can allow the following missions:
- Intelligence Operations;
- Surveillance and control of areas of interest;
- Control and identification of threat.
